STRATEGY TO PASS LISTENING COMPREHENSION IN TOEFL

              First session in TOEFL is listening comprehension or session listening .Commonly, in this session there are 50 question.You must listen some conversation which had been recorded before, And then answer the question based on information which had been recorded.Same as the tittle, STRATEGY TO PASS LISTENING COMPREHENSION IN TOEFL will be review the step in TOEFL test Listening Comprehension session or listening session and will give some information how to pass this session.

There are three section in this test. Section is :

1)      PART A

There are 30 shorts conversation, every conversation following by question.You must choose the best answer for every question which are mentioned by the speaker.

2)      PART B

There are two long conversation, each of them following by some question. So, in one conversation contain the information to answers some question( 2 or 3) question.

3)      PART C

There are three conversation, each of them following by  some question.

COMMON STRATEGIST

·         Familliarize yourself with the question. Every TOEFL test had relative the same instruction. So, First strategy which you need to pass this section is to understand the instruction to answer the question.

·         Listen every conversation with attentive. Consentration is the key to pass it. Remember, the conversation just will be read one times.So . when u passed just  1 conversation, you will lost the chance to answer the question. So, its important to focus on what’s in the talking, this is the listening test.

·         Know the level of question. In Listening Comprehension session, the question made with the level easy-medium-hard

·         There is never an empty answer. When you aren’t sure with your answer decide immediately and beware with the answer which you think it’s the correct answer. Remember, there isn’t any penalty or reduction in value with the wrong answer.

·         Use the remaining times to check your answer. When you had been done with your answer, commonly there is a remaining times a few second to start next question.Use that times to check your answer from previous question.

In Listening Section Part A you will get 30 shorts question.In this session, You will listen shorts conversation between two speakers which are following with the question. After listening conversation and the question, You must choose one answer which you thought it’s correct.the strategist to pass this section are :

o   Negatives

o   Suggestion

o   Passives

o   Conclusions about who and where

o   Expressions of agreement
